Brubaker kicks off with 'PrImer' web exclusive track, available right here, right now
Originally short-listed for a place on The Ninth Configuration LP, 'PrImer' (initially titled 'Rear View Mirror') didn't quite make the cut - but rest assured, the decision was made not because it wasn't good enough - but rather it was deemed not in keeping with the rest of the LP.
Filled with all the usual goodness; exquisite wordplay, water tight delivery, sumptuous beats and a chorus that will leave you either scratching your head or pissing yourself laughing, with Brubaker displaying his not-so dulcet tones...
The track contains an interpolation from a well-known eighties club classic and razor sharp cuts, courtesy of DJ Madds, and the best part is - it's absolutely free.
PrImer is the first studio material to be released by Brubaker since June 2005, which saw the EP 'All The Colours Of The Dark', which featured 4 full length tracks including Coal Dust, Bitter Taste, Anti-Venom and 13th Hour.

"The tune is ready to go. It's been sequenced and vocals are
going on it today (5 June 2010), it's a simple mastering job for Madds and it'll be up for everyone to hear and should offer people an idea of what kind of thing they will be hearing on the LP. The chorus is a killer, Madds was in fits." says Brubaker.
"We're really pleased with the end results, it would have been a bit of a shame if the track was shelved just because it didn't really
fit with the LP, so we've given it a day in court, on its own." he adds.
Expect very strong language and subject matter that is not appropriate for minors, so if you have kids - it's probably not the sort of thing you'd want them to hear. More soon.
